I am getting ready to move to another city that's located over a hundred miles from where I am now. Having lived in the same house since the final year of the last millennium, I am busy boxing up household goods I want to keep at my new location and identifying and disposing of items that I no longer need or have outlived their usefulness.
Moving can be a time-consuming and exhaustive process, with many logistical aspects to consider. For instance, what type of vehicle should I use to transport my household goods? If they all can't fit in my car, what are my options? Is my personal vehicle capable of towing a trailer, or should I rent a truck that can tow my car? Can I get friends or family members to help me pack and move? What day should I move? Decisions, decisions…
While my current living arrangement provided stability and a roof over my head, there were many aspects that strongly hinted that it's time for a change and a new beginning. Bring it on!
