The media's 24/7 coverage about this Tuesday's mid-term election is reaching a crescendo. In the United States, emotions on both sides of the political aisle are running high. Rumors abound, such as the idea that the election could be canceled. A number of hotly contested seats nationwide are up for grabs. It is conceivable that some races will not be decided until many days or weeks following Election Day.
"Think globally, act locally"
Several health freedom activists whom I know personally are competing to fill seats on educational boards of various cities in Marin County.
While I am not running for office, I was one of many concerned residents who convinced my city's building and planning department that holding a public meeting to discuss a controversial housing and office building project near my home on Election Day was a very bad idea. They agreed to postpone that public meeting from Nov 8th to Nov 17th.
